I’m interested in a kind of clarity and perhaps simplicity although I really like dense sounds which feel like they might overwhelm you.
Musicians need to be technically solid, artistically interesting, unfailingly hard working and promotionally savvy.
After many years of conducting masterclasses on a professional level, and mentoring and coaching advanced young musicians, my definition of success is helping these students achieve entrance to music colleges and succeeding in the career they pursued.
I love playing in smaller halls where you can feel the energy and see in real time the response of the people up close.
