in music you never stop learning
As a minimalist, I don’t have many possessions, other than my instruments. I was gifted with an Arnold Dolmetsch harpsichord earlier this year. I believe this tops my list of special instruments.
It’s so easy to forget, through all the stress of conservatoires, competitions, and touring that being an artist is the ultimate privilege. We’re getting to do something very special that very few people get to do.
