I try to keep my finger on the pulse and find collaborations or themes that I feel both push and lift the ensemble, soloists and audience.
I am a Lisztian from head to toe, and when playing his music, I feel like I am speaking my mother tongue.
Making a score is for me almost always the last stage while working on the new piece. I start with capturing the ideas, which are sometimes far away from the music itself.
I hope that my musical language is both accessible but also unpredictable – that I take the listener on an unexpected journey.
