We are always only a little part of the entirety of music. For sure you can play alone but without many other participants beforehand or during the performance like the composer himself, the audience, the partners, the luthier or architect who built the hall it wouldn’t be the same. One alone is basically nothing.
Musicians are the heart and soul of our music. The notes on the page that we write is not really the music, it is what happens between the notes that is the music; what the musician does with the notes.

Every time we pick up our instruments or walk on to a stage, we have the privilege of creating, communicating and sharing. Figuring out what kind of musician you want to be is the first step and then comes the path of constant searching and discovering.
