Music is a language and each performer views music through the possibilities of their instrument and technique; I enjoy having conversations about how best something should be played as there are often possibilities I wasn’t even aware of, and that is exciting.
I search for inspiration in my daily life and treat every gig as if was the first time.
I love the colours and the emotion of music. Film music for me has been such a part of my journey that I sometimes imagine images, like a music video, to put myself in a state of mind when I’m composing, even if the piece I am creating is not intended to be a visual.
