As performers mostly of the works of dead composers, we are in a constant battle between temporality and timelessness. Music in a life performance exists in vibrations for a fleeting moment and then gone. The goal is to make these moments speak a Truth.
My success is when I can transmit something that a genius composed
I do not have any definite repertoire strategy. In my case I compose or arrange new pieces and as soon as I think they are mature for the stage, I add them to my program and try them out in live performances.
