Keep trying out different styles of playing and play with lots of different types of musicians, as you don’t know what might shape you, or who you might meet and what opportunity that might later present you with.
don’t be afraid to explore many genres of music on your instrument. The violin might not be used in ‘metal’ music, but you can certainly get a grungy sound from it if you explore!
