It’s hugely rewarding to know that your music is appreciated and is bringing an element of happiness to peoples’ lives.
I believe it should always be about making sure you provide the best possible experience for the audience
Success to me is going on to a stage knowing that I am totally prepared: I have put the work in and come off at the end of the performance knowing that I did my absolute best on that day.
Bach and Britten….share a commitment to the words that they set and build it into the very fabric of the music. It is always a pleasure to understand and learn their works and then to share that story with the audience.
