I believe that if a piece of music resonates with someone and provides comfort or a sense of connection, then it has succeeded

If you can reach one person’s soul with the music you write….it doesn’t get better than that.

I see composition as a form of storytelling. I draw on places, people, memories, literature, and artworks as sources for my music.

There is so much out there which can enrich your practice beyond just creating works
