Stay humble and keep learning.
The greatest challenge of my career was that I wanted not only to be a musician, but to live all of life. I wanted to have a family and experience the other joys of living. In that sense, I was my own greatest challenge.
I want my listeners to hear the music and feel, emote and think about themselves, not about me. And just listen.
Stay true to yourself, and enjoy the music…it seems like something so simple, but it’s not to be taken for granted
I think the biggest influences on my musical life were all these teachers who gave everything to their students and without whom I don’t think I would have fallen in love with music the way I did.
