I love the colours and the emotion of music. Film music for me has been such a part of my journey that I sometimes imagine images, like a music video, to put myself in a state of mind when I’m composing, even if the piece I am creating is not intended to be a visual.
It is the music that provides the inspiration. I have always felt incredibly fortunate that I had the opportunity to sing this wonderful music.
Let’s keep doing our best to get the music out there, creating visionary programming, exciting education on all levels. Let’s launch crazy projects and just do what we are best at: performing as if our life depended on it.
